Aurea McGarry was born and raised in Manhattan, graduated from the New York Academy of Theatrical Arts and is a former professional actor, singer, and dancer. After huge success as a solopreneur in business she recaptured her childhood dreams and became a celebrated and popular television talk show host, and producer, currently appearing as a regular host on Atlanta Live on WATC TV, and as a popular guest on over 400 radio shows, more than 100 TV shows and as the creator of her own Live Your Legacy TV series, for which she won multiple TV awards for including the coveted Emmy Award. Aurea currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Southeast Emmy Awards and has been one of their judges since 2010.
